
Emergency First Aid at Work
This course is designed to support staff to develop the skills an knowledge to effectively deal with an emergency situation.

Courses start from £300, maximum 12 attendees, dependent on location.

An emergency first aid at work course is a training program designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide immediate assistance to someone who has been injured or taken ill at work. The course covers a range of topics, including how to assess an emergency situation, how to perform CPR, and how to treat common injuries such as burns and fractures. By completing this course, individuals can help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their colleagues in the workplace.
Learning outcomes;

Be able to describe your actions in an emergency

Be able to demonstrate adult resuscitation

Be able to demonstrate the use of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)

Explain how to manage choking with adults

Be able to demonstrate the management of an unresponsive casualty

Describe how to recognise and treat bleeding

Explain how to manage the treatment of minor injuries.
