
Basic Life Support
This is designed to meet the needs of care settings and covers the basic principles of first aid including how to respond to emergencies, how to provide adult CPR and what to do in the event of and adult choking.

Courses start from £150, maximum 12 attendees, dependent on location.
Course Duration; 2 hours

This course is designed to support healthcare workers in gaining the necessary knowledge to support their service users in times of medical need as well as more generalised day to day support within their environment. This course is provided to you with a qualified trainer and completed within your workplace for ease of attendance.
A basic life support course is a training program that teaches individuals how to provide immediate care to someone experiencing a life-threatening emergency. This can include CPR, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and other techniques to stabilize a person until medical professionals arrive.

Be able to demonstrate adult resuscitation techniques

Be able to demonstrate the management of an unresponsive casualty

Be able to demonstrate adult choking techniques.

Completion of an accredited course, certificate is valid for 3 years, none accredited courses are valid for 1 year.
